Full disclosure: Having covered the craft industry as a journalist for more than a decade, I am fortunate to be provided with some products to test for articles and projects. Some of the items shown on my blog have been provided by manufacturers. However, no money is ever paid for any review or coverage.
I love the site! Great Job!!
Robi, I love your banner photo and your blog name! The About text is great, too. Shows your crafting and journalism chops, both of which are terrific. I think you will develop a loyal and happy following. Have fun with it! And remember to add photos to those posts. That adds so much. And you’ll have lots of great crafts to show!
After you get a few posts up, let me know and I’ll add you to my blogroll on Parent Talk Today. My mom readers will love your site.
Crafting and writing…..wow do you cook too? Your writing really hits home with me, I find myself nodding in agreement or laughing at all your articles. My favorite? the article about your stamping area. Can we see it again here?

I enjoy your site. I saw those little decorator pens by Plus and went to their site. I cannot find a place to order them. Do you know who might carry these online? Thank you.
Hi Jane, Thanks for the feedback. I’ll check with my contacts at PLUS and see where you might be able to find those decorator pens.
Hi Jane,
Try calling the toll-free customer service number: 1-800-211-9001 to see where you can find the pens in your area. Let me know if that doesn’t help and I will try other methods!
I reiewed your blog/site, how much fun can one person have? Thank you for so many new ideas, and new items to check out. I would love to share a site w/u ( products R addicting) http://www.sparklensprinkle.com ph 888-901-9173 OMG the glitter (if you like that sort of thing) Ink, paper, stamps and glitter plus chocolate, what could be better? Happy stamping! 🙂
Roberta, I happened upon your website when I was looking thru an old (Oct. 2010) issue of Craftsnthings. On pg. 56 I found a card made by you featuring a young lady sitting on a beach. It caught my eye because she looks like me when I was a little younger. MY husband thinks so also! Years ago it was in another publication. Is it a rubber stamp? I would like to purchase it. I looked thru your blog and cards and liked what I saw..Thank you for any help you may have for me.
Hi Janice,
Thanks for stopping by my blog … and wow, October 2010! That seems like so long ago. I had to dig up my old issue of the magazine to find it! I think the one you are talking about shows a girl sitting on beach in front of a parasol? Blue background? (See if this is it: https://creativeunblock.wordpress.com/2010/09/03/vintage-cards-from-crafts-n-things/) Who wouldn’t love looking like that beauty? The stamp is (was) from Inkadinkado (I think it was originally made by a company called Tin Can Mail). It is called Bathing Beauty 92645-X. I believe the company was acquired by EK Success (http://www.eksuccessbrands.com).
However, I did a quick Google search and found several references for it, so you may be able to find it on sale somewhere online. Good luck, and let me know if you are successful! Thanks for visiting my blog!
Robbie, it’s wonderful to rediscover you after so many years. We often chatted at Carson and I so enjoyed your Rubber Stamper columns, drawing on them for inspiration when I was preparing items for publication.
Oh my gosh — how good to hear from you! Ahhh, the Rubber Stamper! How I loved writing for that magazine! I have not been to the Carson show in a long time … I really need to make it out there. Thanks so much for visiting my blog and saying hi!
