Fabulous Finds Friday: Bazzill Paper

Paper, paper, paper. Can we ever get enough? Especially if it has texture, color and pizzazz! Today’s Fabulous Find is the new paper from Bazzill Basics. The new glazed cardstock is embossed — but with the added interest of a shiney coating. The tone-on-tone glazing is subtle, but exciting.
Here is a spring card made using an Easter design. The white on white is quite subtle.
A close-up gives you a better view of the glazing:

Because the white was so subtle, I took a Ranger Distress pad (Blue Jeans) and rubbed it over a scrap of the paper and viola! Watch the glazed eggs pop:
The other papers have deeper colors, and the glazing really shows. Here’s a cute cupcake design:
Other glazed designs include polka dot, feathers, leaves, diamonds and stripes. I love the deep, rich tones. Take a look at the display board from CHA:
Also new are additions to an elegant line — white stock with shine and texture — the names say it all: Tiny Diamonds, Taffeta and Linen. I don’t have photos, but I hope to make a project this weekend using this paper.
